Kingsmere River and Tramway

 

We soon came to the lower end of the tramway, and met two people coming out, luckily bringing the canoe carrier to our end.

We stacked the two canoes

and were off up the track

We finally got to the top of the river, where the dam had been removed, only to find 100 metres of sand between us and the water of Kingsmere Lake.
